yes wanting to know if anyones done this before on a 92-95 civic ac compressor? was it hard to do? what tools do i need? Mines recently took a **** on me.

 

i did on my 99 civic, is easy just take out belts, find the nuts take it out, inside it has like something graping it take it out too it looks like a rig, disconect it from the top of compressor and take out all the bearing and the big thing where the belt goes lol, and you have it done

 

what about installing a new clutch?

It's taken from the 92 Civic service manual, also called the Helms manual.

 

Yes, this is pretty straightforward. Not really difficult to remove the compressor and do this on the bench.

 

Awesome! Now to see if the parts store has one of these on loan. Good thread.

 

How about pressing the rotor pulley? I need to replace my compressor clutch too.
