b16a2 upgrade to jdm gsr - axle, O2 sensor, and emissions questions
so recently my b16a2 swap into my civic ex has started to develop an oil problem whether it be piston rings or valve seals it doesn't matter to me. i'm a full time student and sadly i have to commute every day so i don't have an option to have my car off the road for more than just a weekend. the idea of having my bottom end re machined and waiting on all the correct parts for a build is just out of the question. So at any rate i'm ordering a jdm gsr from h-motors

Now i've read up on the swap and i consider myself pretty familiar with honda motors and swaps but i have a few questions on what exactly im looking at as far as problems go with b16 to gsr, not necessarily the jdm to usdm issues. I'm aware i have to change the crank sensor and the oil pump, as well as the air temp sensor on the intake that the jdm gsr doesn't have but.
i need to know:
1. will my b16a2 axles fit my 94-97 jdm gsr "is it the same spline?" if so what else is swappable. I plan on using my b16 transmission would this change anything?
2. will my oxygen sensors for the b16 fit the gsr?
3.will i have any issues getting my car through emissions with the jdm ecu even if i don't have a check engine light and i have changed my oil pump and crank sensor? will the jdm ecu not be compatible with the machine, mind you its obd2 as if no one knew that... but in ct they just plug the car in and pass you according to whether you have a check engine light, they don't do the sniff test
feel free to troll as hard as possible, but please give me some answers all knowledgeable honda tech, i googled this hard all week but i couldn't find definitive answers which is ironic seeing as im studying to become a network administrator...

You're welcome.
Prevents the car from being started unless you have the correct key. When using an immobilizer equipped ECU in a civic you have to remove the immobilizer as the civic doesn't have the rest of the system (key, key ring, transponder, etc)
As long as you have a '96 - '98 Civic that ECU will plug in and work fine, if you have a '99 - '00 Civic you will need a conversion harness.
