Icon2 Maintenance guy at work gave me an intake manifold

guy at work gave me an intake mani from his wrecked da
dont know what motor it came off of but it says
-p72- on it

would really appreciate info on this

and would it for on a b18c1

(dont know to much about b series)

i believe p72 is a b18b1 intake mani.

but b18b1 sounds about right he said it was a 94 base model

yes P72 is GSR equipment.. i can't view the pic you posted for some reason (if there is one posted) but if its the "roll down" style manifold with butterfly's then its gsr for sure. P75 is b18b (LS) equipment

i havent posted a picture but it does have a butterfly inside it
(would have a pic but gotta move all the hondas in the yard for a wedding lol)

An ls type IM is almost identical to a b16 or ITR manifold. The gsr manifold looks like a hunchback.

well i thought it was an ls intake and i wanted to mess with porting on this new one and see how that reacts with my brothers gsr

that and im building up my parts collection

Yeap GSR,

It mounts with the plenum pointing down like in the third pic.

Most people switch them out, too much work porting them

yea ive read about the aebs(i think thats what it was) intake many that outperformed the stock and a few other aftermarket intakes and its less than 200 but hey this one was free! lol

but like i said my bro has the gsr and i just wanna build up my parts collection
