Autobahn Country Club Full Course open track day October 11th, Columbus Day!

LAPS INC. will be hosting an open track day @ ABCC Full course on October 11th Columbus day! Please spread the word we need to fill this up asap! Kristy and I look forward to seeing all of you one more time in 2010! Please call with any questions.
This track day is an open event. It is a perfect opportunity to get in that LAST EVENT of the year.

The event will have 3 specific run groups Novice, Intermediate, & Advanced. We have planned for five 30 minute run sessions for each group. Placement within the specific run groups will be based on EXPERIENCE & SAFETY.


LAPS Inc will be providing classroom for those Novice students that have never experienced Autobahn. In addition, we shall have a turn-by-turn classroom discussion available for all participants that have never driven Autobahn or wish to refresh the driving line. To follow our mantra, we strongly encourage all participants at all levels of skill to utilize one of our experienced instructors.


Safety is paramount with LAPS Inc. All helmets must meet a Snell rating of SA2000 or SA05. Helmets will be available for rent at the track. Convertibles are allowed. We strongly encourage all convertibles to have a manufacturer or custom roll bar/cage with arm straps meeting manufacturer's specification or SCCA guidelines. The participant should meet the 2-inch broom stick rule. We understand this might inconvenience you or possibly discourage your attendance but we want everyone to have a safe and fun experience.

This event will not provide lunch but the café will be open.

The event will run rain or shine.

THIS IS NOT A RACE DAY OR RACING SCHOOL. Drivers are financially responsible for any and all damages they make to a facility and its parts. The only insurance covering drivers and their vehicles at the facility is their own. We can assist with contacting an appropriate insurance company to obtain track insurance for your vehicle.

yeah, lt us know if you need instructors...i spent my entire summer there riding around in cars it seems. haha

 

Sorry for the delay guys, work has been kicking my butt the last few weeks! Last time I talked to Shawn, he was in pretty good shape with instructors but will be happy to ask him today. I owe him a phone call anyway!

There is still space available for this event. Actually, due to the modest number of entries thus far, they are considering opening up the sessions for everybody for at least the afternoon. This means every 30 minutes they will checker the session to clear the track but you will be able to go right back out for another session!

This is a really fun group to drive with and even if instructing is not an option, it will be a ton of track time for the money.
