Jackson Racing Supercharger d16z6 Honda Civic 1993 EX
I have a jackson racing supercharger on my 93 honda civic. d16z6 motor. The alternator belt is constantly shredding on one side. Someone told me it was because of the bad bearings in the supercharger could this be the case? The guy wanted to buy the supercharger from me so I wasn't sure what he was saying was true because he was trying to trade me a skunk2 intake manifold for it. This is really frustrating and I can not find an answer anywhere! And if the bearings are bad how much of a process is that to fix? Thanks for your time!
it could be the belt who aren't lined correctly
if you charger is worn you should hear a lot of noise coming from the nose
a few company rebuit supercharger if realy bad
magnuson... google eaton rebuilt

DO NOT TRADE IT FOR A SKUNK2 IM... I have a edelbrock for trade! JUST KIDDING! DONT TRADE IT... Ur SC is worth more than that IM even if his was new.

Thanks! What would be an easy way to check and see if the belt isnt lined correctly? I asked them to look but they just kept saying the supercharger was broken. Said the bearings were shot but there is no unusual noise from the supercharger at all...thanks!
your issue is mis alignment of the pulleys. align the alt with spacers on the top bracket that's usually were people miss putting them. rarely will the snout bearing be crushed and the snout allowed to have in and out slop to shred the belt
