high idle 2000rpm

Default high idle 2000rpm

my d15b swap idles at 2000-2500 cant get it to drop below that and if im driving and it drops below 2500 in gear it falls on its face, any help?

I would start by checking the spark timing, and checking for vacuum leaks.

It would be better to set it to spec. I believe this to be somewhere around 14 or 16* btdc with the service connector jumped.

Has it always done this? Did it start doing it after you 'fixed' something?

When you say you 'played' with your timing, did you try setting it to factory specs?

What's the power like above 2500? Does it rev clean?

this is after a d15b vtec swap runs great above 2500 dont have a working timing light when i need it, there are some vacuum lines unhooked but im pretty sure they go to the ols map sensor what do i do with them?

Was it a firewall mounted map sensor? And you're now using one that's connected to the throttle body?

If you haven't looped that line then the engine is drawing air through there. Trace the line back to the intake manifold and block it off.

Having the line not blocked will cause the engine to race at idle (idle high)
