was thinking about taking my BNIB auto zone/vance GP axles and disassemble them..
i want to add-
--silicone boots
--then i got a hook up with CRYO treament was going to CRYO the shaft, cups ball and cage...etc,
-- repack with HIGH temp MARINE grease

then putting them on my boys turbo car and seeing how much abuse they can take..

if this works would like to apply to cars that dont have a nice stage 2/3/5 options like the honda/dsm/ect crowed does.. my buddy has a turbo escort gt/mazda gtr swap and he goes through at lease one axle a weekend at the track..

 

if MOD could chang title of thread to "DIY upgrade axle questions......?"
