Ok im having a problem with my DD, and this is only the second time it has happened. I was driving down the road and all of a sudden the check engine lights pops on and the car starts idleing around 2k rpms. The CEL has no code what so ever. Its a 97 ek with b16 on a obd2-obd1 conversion harness with p28. The chip is one of those mugen/jun chips. Has been in there for about 7 years with no problems at all. The first time it did this a few months ago i took the cover off the ecu and pressed down on the chip to make sure it hadnt vibrated loose, and i also noticed a VERY small amount of corrosion on one of the resistors that i cleaned off. And when i started it back up everything worked perfect. And then it happens again today, and nothing i do will work. Any suggestions? thanks
