HONDA DEALER OR LOOK FOR THE NEAREST ALTERNATOR REBUILDING PLACE,THEY SHOULD HAVE ONE IN STOCK

 

Dealer sells in with the whole wire harness.

 

THEN JUST GET IT FROM A LOCAL ALTERNATOR REBUILDER BUT URE GONNA HAVE TO CUT AND SPLICE

obd0 uses the same plug just so u know

 

I bought a '99dx with a d16z6. Trying to figure out which alternator the guy used. I'm showing code 17 and 20 (p28) though everything seems to be working properly.

Curious if a '99 alt may be causing a charging issue.

How can I tell which alternator is which, and what pins go to what on each one as well.

Once I figure out what alt I have, I may need a pigtail; in which case I'll PM somebody to
buy one.

if its a 99 civic you should be using a obd2 plus which is different then a 95 civic if ur using obd1 alternator with a obd1 plug the wires may not match up right
and if ur running a p28 u must have a obd2 to obd1 harnes by the ecu which will not change the alt. plug have ne questions lmk
