Default what ecu is best to use for a LS V?

I am about to run a b18b with a b16 head what ecu is the best to run till i get it tuned?

Yeah you need a chipped p28. no stock ecu will run your LS/Vtec

any chipped vtec ecu will allow you to get a tune for your setup. doesn't need to be a p28..

now your question was which ecu would be best in the meantime, in which case it would certainly not be a sohc vtec ecu. you'd have better luck with a b16 ecu.

ok honestly if i was you i would just see if someone could send me a base map for a vtec ecu then get it tuned on hondata
