I have a light ticking sound when the car is idling, but it goes away when i push in the clutch, and i dont hear it while i'm driving, only when idling. Any idea what this could be? thanks in advance

That noise is coming from the mainshaft bearings. Check your transmission oil level. When you remove the fill plug, some oil should trickle out of the fill hole. If it doesn't, the trans is low on oil and you should do a trans oil change. I highly recommend genuine Honda Manual Transmission Fluid. Do not use gear lube because it will damage the transmission bearings.

No. The clutch release bearing does not spin until you push the clutch pedal in, which moves the release arm and pushes the release bearing into the pressure plate fingers.

My ep3 is the same way. Take a long screw driver and put it to your fuel rail then listen on the other end more than likely you will hear really loud ticking coming from it thats the injectors. Would also suggest checking your trans fluid too just in case.
