Default what possible consequences .. piston sticks out 0.075" at TDC .. h22 head

my particular setup ..
95mm stroke .. compression height = 1.220" .. rod length = 5.630" .. h23 block, h22 head, stock valves
what possible consequences will I run into with piston sticking out 0.075" at TDC ?

put the head back on and put the timing belt on and turn the motor slow if the valves don't hit the pistos you should be ok

so you are running h22 rods and h22 pistons coupled with an h23 crank? which h22 pistons are you using?

torque the head down and put cyl 1 to TDC; lock vtec into place and spin each cam over. If you feel it stop, do not try and keep going as you will bend a valve. measure clearance.

yeah, Mahle 10:1 pistons with Eagle rods. Both for the H22 engine .. but ofcourse I want to use these with the H23 crank.

10:1? was not aware they made a 10:1 piston. What is the dome volume?

yeah, 10:1 .. Flat-top // -1cc valve relief volume

you will need to clay the pistons as i said with vtec locked.

thanks Pirate. Yeah 13:1CR is a little too much in this case, I'm trying to use this for a boosted application. I'll end up either using the H22 crank (and thus maintain the 10:1CR) or get a different rod to lower the CR and still use the H23 crank. Thanks for the help guys.
