Default Proper cam break in?

What is the proper break in for aftermarket cams? I heard from someone that it is 30 minutes of constant idling. True?

Default Re: Proper cam break in? (StockTeg)

My Crane cam directions said to let it idle for 30 minutes without letting the rpm drop below 1500, then to change the oil after 100 miles.
