Has spark and compression (161 measured, 171 spec) and is running on 1 cylinder, so I'm going to rebuild the carburetors. I've found the OEM stuff at Honda Parts Direct, and not much else. I'm fine with that but if anyone has any other suggestions or links off-hand of a place you've had good experience with in the past, I'd appreciate it!

No experience with Silverwings other than running into a guy in Zion National Park who rode it there from one of the Carolinas.

my cousin rode an 80's silverwing across the country and back last year. the only problem he had the entire time was a flat tire. the think certinly wasnt the prettiest but it ran good and was super reliable for him

 

Yup. Bikes like that are all about the ride.

 

Many years ago at a motorcycle show at Reynolds motorsports in Gorham, ME, they had 2 of these bikes and they locked the throttles at WOT with the bikes in neutral and just let them run to see which one would blow up first. It took a good while before they let go.
