Default 92 95 civic engine harness auto vs manual

Installing a b16a complete changover sir II from hmotors into a 94 civic dx that was running a d16z6. My current harness is a bit hacked up from previous b series swaps being installed. My qustion is.... Would a 92 95 civic ex auto harness be ok to use with my obd 1 sirII b16a swap? I know it probably has extra plugs that would b unused which wouldn't bother me. Please any help is greatly appreciated. TIA

Should work fine, I used an auto B18B harness with my B18B 5 spd swap, but yes there will be unused plugs.

^Notice he says he wants to use his z6 auto harness with the B16 though. Not b16a auto to B16a mani.

Yes it was noticed, and I said B18B not B16a auto harness. I still don't remember it being an issue, although I haven't used a D16Z6 auto harness in a swap in over 15yrs.

Either way he would still need to extend O2 sensor plug and add Knock sensor wiring.

OP, if your buying a replacement harness to save from any unforseen problems get a D16Z6 5spd harness or a B18B 5spd harness and add vtec and knock sensor. While a auto harness will work, its not ideal.

There is no difference in automatic and 5 speed '92 - '95 Civic engine harnesses. Plug for the shift solenoids on the automatic is used for the backup light switch for the manual, part numbers are the same and everything.

Since the cabin harness isn't wired for VTEC or knock sensor you'll have to either add them from the shock tower plug to the ECU or wire them directly from the sensor to the ECU. Let me know if you need any wiring for the swap, check my signature below.

I locate a 94 ex 5spd harness for 50 bucks so I should be in good shape. Now I have to figure out what belt size I need for a d series compressor being used with a p54 mount on a b16.
