I just purchased a 97 accord. The radio does not work.I noticed a blown fuse, replaced it and it blew again. So there must be a short somewhere. Anyone have an idea where I should start looking ? Thanks

 

So is it psooible the prev owner had a different radio in it and switched back before selling it...I'd ask if you can and then start there.

 

Thanks for the reply poorman212. The radio had not been replaced. I did find out what the problem was though. I had noticed that the fuse was marked radio and lighter, so I decided to check the lighter. Sure enough someone had shoved a small battery into the lighter which shorted it out.
I was able to pull the battery out with a magnet and now we have music again.
