have oil looking almost like grease on the turbo intake almost as if it spit it out the turbo, when i check to se if the shaft has play it doesnt move but a cm if that, what could be wrong?

 

Wait, you said the shaft moves but a CM if that? A CM is alot of play. You shouldnt be having any. How many miles are on this turbo and what kind of turbo is it? If the shaft is moving that much and you have oil on the inlet side, you might possibly look into a new turbo, or spending the time to rebuild the one you have.

 

bad seals, buy another turbo.
