slow starter
2004 Accord 2.2 Diesel
Starting from cold is ok, a couple of turns and she starts.
But once the car has warmed up, it takes up to about 7 seconds of turning over to get her started, and has occasionally failed to start.
She just passed a diagnostics test in our local Honda dealer.
No stored fault. No problem with injectors, fuel rate pressure, glow plug relay.
He thinks it could be the EGR valve sticking, and wants to replace that "to start with".
Any ideas?

I would suspect leaking injectors... but you said they were checked?
I dont know much about the 2.2 euro accord... do they have glow plugs? have those been checked?
isn't it fairly normal for a diesel to take several seconds to finally catch as the plug comes up to spec?

I have a second accord, same model, year younger, and it starts pretty much always on first or second turn, i.e. immediately.
