Scammed in Feb. 2002 by LOUIS T. CALDWELL (Houston, TX)
I was scammed on 2/7/2002 for $1180 worth of goods by:

his # doesn't work anymore and i'm not sure if he still lives at that address. i got a personal check from him (yeah i know it was dumb) but it didn't bounce 'till 4 weeks later (damn Bank of America). i still have the original check and even the envelope he sent the $ in. this guy's changed his # at least 3x and i have no way to contact him now. i sent the guy 2 rockford fosgate subs, a rockford fosgate amp, tweeters, crossovers, an amp kit, and a few other things. he also owed me an Apexi VAFC which he never sent, and on top of the $90 i spent for shipping, it totals to over $1180.
if anyone has any info on Louis i'm offering a
25% cut of my $1180 ($295)
as a reward for helping me get this guy. i have an FBI file as proof of that this scam is real, as well as several documents and emails.

Go to houston-imports.com/forums/ and search for his name...a few ppl on there got scammed by him and he replyes to all there thereds with bs stories.....good luck

Last I heard he had tons of peeps after his head. Supposively he is in Jail at this time, left behind his wife and kid. I'll see if I can get up to date on him.

nah the person who claimed he went to jail was "anonymous".... i pretty much assumed Louis did this himself to make everyone think he went to jail and to get everyone off his back, but i'm not sure. anyway thanks for the help everyone.

I love reading these soap-opera disputes... it sucks that they happen but it sure is fun to read them and see some good hard justice being done to these scammers.

that sucks man. I will go to his house if i have to go out to maryland for my scammer ****. I have to go sue some kids mom for $900 and all my other expences. But i'd be more than happy to get together with some other H-Ters to pay him a visit

Contact the district attorney for Houston and report him as a hot check writer! Texas doesnt play with hot check writers.. They will put out a warrant for his arrest if he doestnt show up to the court.
