i have a d16a6 block and a d16z6 head. i was wanting to use the coolant sensor that is in the thermostat housing on a 92-95 civic (yes i have the housing and sensor). my question is do i need the water tube from the 92-95 civic or can i use my existing water tube on the 16 motor?

also in regards to the coolant lines off the iac and the tbody and head, does anyone have a diagram of what goes to what. my water tube has an outlet in addition to the outlet that loops back onto the cylinder head and i dont know what that feeds to. any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

Do you mean the RAd hose? If you are lost on which Radiator hose to use just bust out the old school muscle car method and get a coathanger, bend to the shape you need, go to Napa and hunt through the hoses till you find your bends.

 

not rad hose. the coolant lines behind the intake manifold. but i figured out my issue. i have a z6 intake mani and the tbody i got was for a d15 not a z6 so it doesnt have the fitv on the bottom of the tbody. guess i need to hit the junkyard unless anyone has any ideas

 

Small piece of metal tubing to connect the coolant lines, essentially bypassing the FITV. The FITV is crap anyway. -Later, BR
