Default Holy Motor Mounts!

Im running an A1 Swap in my Wago right now, with the Billet Hasport Motor mounts with the black bushings.

I have never used hasport's mounts before, i have always bought innovative's stuff.

But this car have the worst viboration i have ever felt in my life!
The whole car shakes like crazy!

Now i have a set on Innovatives that i will be putting in with my GSR, but my question is, how can i make these solid mounts.... Less solid?

I dont know if the factory motor mounts are made from a differint material, buti was think about drilling some small holes in the polyurethane.

More like a stock mount.

Im sure that would take away from the vib, but do you think this would be unsafe?

All of my other efs were never this bad, and this is BAAAAD.

I don't know the stiffness of my hasport ones are. nor the stiffness of the Innovative ones.

The new innovatives were suppose to be the soft street version.
But in case they are not, what damage would drilling holes do?

Bump?

Drilling a few holes in my motor mounts as cush points would do what?

Anybody ever tried this?

You could try drilling holes but i'm not sure how effective it is, and if it would harm anything...

The mounts aren't the insert type?

Drilling holes sounds like a bad idea... possible outcome.... Drill holes in expensive motor mounts= epic fail!

Sell the mounts and purchase something else, instead of destroying the mounts.

Or you can try running solid mounts on the sides, and stock mounts front and back, that'll get rid of a large amount of the vibration.

I am running the u62a and the vibration is minimal. After a while I couldn't feel the diff. You must have stiffer inserts. But drilling isnot a good idea. Contact hasport to figure what inserts you have and if you have higher than 62a you can have the 62A installed in them for cheap. If u don't want the vibration run stock mounts. I love my hasport efstk mounts.

Unless you got a stiffer full race inserts your vibrations should be minimal, unless your interior is gone causing the vibration to magnify through the cab or if there is something else on ur car that vibrates a lot anyway. My crx's stripped interior seems to magnify the vibrations a lil.

My DA integra on the other hand was hardly noticable after I just put those hasports on it, clutch chatter from that fresh stage 3 is more noticable through thsese mounts I'm guessing....its annoying as **** but I wouldn't trade anything for the difference in the way it drives now.

You could also buy some dynamat and stick it to the firewall inside the car.

I would love to run stock motor mounts, I don't want the stiffness of solid mounts. But how can I run stock mounts with a b series in my EF? My car has full interior and is my daily. And the vibrations are horrible! I have had many a swapped cars, and never had vibrations this bad. It In had to hear people talk onerous the noise. Like I said, I have a new Innovative set I'm going to try later today when. I finish the gsr install.

Will see what happeneds

DO NOT DRILL HOLES IN THOSE MOUNTS. That will just waste yo cash. Either get softer bushings for them or take it like a man haha. I bet ig you want you can order some softer hasport bushings and press them in or get them pressed in. Otherwise just enjoy the tire grip and tighten everything down that rattles.

This guy says he used the stock rear and driver's side mount when putting a B16A into a 1990 CRX DX.

Read the 4th paragraph.

Just a thought.

He also mentions using mounts from a 1990-1993 Integra...

Gsr is in with the new Innovative mounts. Vibrations are Not near as bad! Those hasport Mounts must have been the super hard bushings

The code of the bushing is on the back, so you have to remove the bushing.....
