Icon2 Timing belt tensioner

How many of you have used or run one of these?

endyn also has their own version of it but i dont like it as much

ive thought about using one if that counts? :D
i hate that whip off that side of the belt, freaks me out!

why dont you like the endyn one? i was thinking of making one up!

The block mounting points the other one uses are a stronger place to bolt to.

I can honestly say this is a 1st for me seeing this type of tensioner. Are they still using the stock tensioner and adjusting this to put the same tension as a backup? Or are they eliminating the stock tensioner? Also looks like the mounting will be in the location for the power steering pump.

i rememeber reading a thread somewhere you gotta becarefull using it < think someone broke there exh cam or something have to see if i can find it

Same thing can happen to the intake side when people over tighten the belt with the stock tensioner.
This is just supposed to barely put enough pressure on the belt to keep it from jumping all over the place at high rpm....kinda like the skunk2 one for the k series.
