You will probably need to get a camber correction kit, install that and then get an alignment, that should bring you back to spec. As far as no one wanting to do the alignment you are going to wrong places I guess...

You can't adjust camber on alot of Hondas. On a stock suspesioned car, if camber is off they actually have to bend some part of it. My guess is the spindle. Anyway, the only correct way to fix the camber on your car would be to get a kit.

If you can find a good camber kit for a 4th gen, let me know.

Default Alignment of dropped cars.....

I ran into this problem recently at NTB - Conversation was something like "we can't do it because it's too low" "... why." "we can't get it onto the rack because the front lip is hitting it." Apparently "normal" garages don't want to fool with the xtra work of getting a low car on there and fear getting sued thinking they could break your car. some speed shops can do it but they wana charge a ton too

there are places that will do it, i ran into the same problem, most places will not do it, i took it to a place that deals with frames and steering, and they do it no problem, very few places do, u can try some performance shops in your areas, the good ones might have some laser alignment..later!

Let's get this right. Any alignment shop with a newer Laser alignment machine CAN do a dropped Honda. Some shops still have a pit type of alignment machine and the talent to do it too. I agree that you need to find a shop that understands lowered cars. My Honda dealer uses a Beam Visualigner Laser based machine and does my cars routinely. I've also had my Prelude aligned at a local Pep Boys on a similar machine.
As to Camber kits: Both Ingalls and Specialty Products make them for 5th gen and 4th gen Preludes. The exception is the front of an SH. For those there is an alternate front kit supplier at http://www.northstarmfg.com. I'm using Ingalls in the rear and Specialty up front. 4th gen owners can use the same type of kit on both ends from either maker as the control arm mounting is very different between 4th and 5th gen cars.
You CANNOT just buy a kit-you must have an alignment first to find out how far out of spec you are. Then you can look up the parts (or call) you need. I get my parts from Ultra Performance in Tucson/ but there are others that sell these brands.

You're problem is that the alignment shops in glendale are ghetto. The closest place to you, there's a in La crescenta, Winston Tires. They did my SH there, and its dropped 1.4"

There's this one place in Anaheim, Wheel Warehouse. I go there, cause they do a good job, and dont scratch my wheels.

Ok this is why you have irregular tire ware. Its due mainly becuase of your irregualr look of your lower control arm. When your car is stock your lower control arm has the look of the lower pic, when you lower your car dramatically with Race springs your lower control arm will look like the middle one. And Finally my lower control looks like the one on top. CAMBER KIT is only solution

Oh and BTW you might want to get after mrk shocks pretty soon.
