Hey guys I've been using this site since about a week after I got my first em2 but I haven't posted much and after looking through almost all of the picture thread during this past week i decided to start saving up money to put into my civic so thanks first off for all the inspiration.

First off I had a red 04 Civic VP (oh yes the value package) and it lasted me almost a year and I wrecked it and totaled it not long after Christmas and of course I had just added a Revo Technica short shifter and a K&N Short Ram intake.

Then about 3 months later I got a grey 05 Civic EX and put the intake and shifter back on it from my previous car. The car came with an axle back Magnaflow tip (not exactly sure what model) and it sounded good until I had to make my 5 hour drive down to college so my next trip home I took it to Midas and told them to put the closest tip to stock they could find so it only cost me about 40 bucks. The only money other than that really that I've put into my civic up to this point was some Lamin-X headlight tint to protect it and give it a different look.

I've had my em2 for about 4 years and over the past 2 years all of my money has been going into other build projects (72 Jeep Truck, 91 CRX, 92 Civic) but I'm really wanting to start to make my civic look better and maybe a little faster until I break down and do a K20Z1 swap.

Right now my future modifications are looking like:
-Fog lights
-Full coilovers (progress probably)
-Crower Stage 1 cams
-Apexi WS2 full cat-back exhaust
-Sidemarkers and Window Visors
-Headers (not totally sure which brand just yet)
-Lip kit (hopefully front, side, and rear)
-Wheels (no clue what kind yet but probably 16")

Feel free to comment on what mods I should do or what suspension/wheels to choose and all. Hopefully I wont get bashed too much on how high my car sits or my headlight covers but I'm already expecting to get some questions about my lens. Thanks for looking either way though.

Thanks guys... I'm really hoping to buy the crower stage 1 cam either during Thanksgiving or Christmas break because I'll have money from working then but being in college makes it hard to do any work on her.

im going to guess its vinyl film

 

yea its a thin film... its called lamin-x and it protects the light and will keep them from ever fogging up and you can get them in a clear film yellow black and i think maybe a few others too
