Icon3 92 hatch head light and corners problem

hey all, i have an issue here that i need to fix asap so my car doesnt die over night and i get fired from my job for not making it.. still in the first 90 days n already didnt make it in 1 night. but my problem is my amber corners are on right now with my car off.. my switch wont turn em off.. my tail lights are stuck on as well.. my fuzes look good, now heres what all i did today and i noticed this when i was heading home.. i put on a hub, quick release and aftermarket steering wheel. i removed the srs stuff for the air back so my srs light is on as well. ill find out how to get that to turn off eventually but my amber corners wont turn off.. and my tails wont.

when i use my turn signal that works. when press the lever to me the brights come on (they dont stay on but thats how mine is). but for some reason my head lights wont turn on.. and ambers and tails wont turn off. anyone know what i need to do to fix this? all help is appreciated alot!

There's probably a problem with the combination light switch on the steering column or the switch wires. There were likely damaged when you replaced the steering wheel.

yea but the switch will let me turn my blinkers on as well as head lights.. so i figured maybe that eliminates the switch. steering column looked ok, we removed everything right, and put that back on. idk is there a way to test the switch? (the part that u spin a little to turn on head lights etc at the tip)

No, this does not rule out a problem switch or wires. Parking/taillights are a separate component of the light switch.

thanks bud. im going to remove the switch now and see if the connection is strong there. this really sucks though! lol how would i go about turning off my tail lights and stuff? idk just a little confused about the switch since the turn signals and stuff still turn on and brights. maybe i shouldnt look at it as, if that goes out.. it all goes out or something. imma go test it real fast and let you know the results. thanks for the input

well abc = turn signals which is completely diff so that makes sense there. brb while i go attempt to remove it.

The way to look at the switch is that it is composed of multiple different switch elements - taillights/parking lights, headlights, turn signals, brights. Any one of those switch functions can go bad without affecting the others.

Alright so when I remove the plug the lights turn off, what would cause them to stay on though? And I removed the two bolts for the switch but it's not wanting to come out know of another bolt? But yea when the plug
is off lights go off when I plug it back in lights go back on
