ive got a 96 civic sedan(im sure its the same process on all) but i need to replace my inner and outer tie rod on the left side asap and i have no idea how to do it but i dont wanna take it to a shop cause they wanna charge me 300 dollars so id rather do it my self then just get an alignment done any help would be greatly apreciated!

 

Best advice is to get yourself a workshop manual,either at a partsstore or search and find one online.

 

It's pretty easy. I would get a shop manual and it'll you you the step by step process. If you buy the new ones and look at them, it should be pretty self explanatory, they more or less just screw on. It's a very dirty job though.

 

as said get a shop maunal. If you are going to do the left side and pay for an alignment you might as well spend the extra cash and replace everything on both sides
