I purchased a peakboost turbo kit for my b16 '93 EG. This is not my daily driver, I use it mainly for autocross / track days / hpde.

I've been using an Integra radiator that spans the width of the bumper inlet. Every picture I've seen of peakboost manifolds (ramhorn style) puts the turbo too far forward to use the larger radiator.

Has anyone running 6-10 psi had overheating problems using the smaller radiator? Is something like the Neukin Dual core radiator going to be sufficient to keep me from overheating? Most sessions on track are between 15-30 minutes.

Any relevant information / personal experience / tips / tricks are much appreciated.

 

What kind of racing do you want to do?
Circuit racing? If so, forgett about a halfsize radator....

Where do you come from?

 

I do not plan to drag race this car, and I do not compete in any formal racing like N.A.S.A or SCCA, if that is what your asking. If I were ever to decide to make this car a racer, I would put my D series back in and make it a spec racing car. I do drive on circuit tracks throughout the mid-west (Gingerman, Grattan, Mid Ohio, Putnam, Waterford, etc). I'm guessing from your comment you think a Half size radiator ain't going to cut it, and I agree. I don't think anything bigger than a half-size radiator will work with the manifold that I'm getting. I'll start looking for a different manifold while I try to find a radiator

Oh btw, I live in Michigan

 

What about the "tuck" radiators? I feel those would be tucked away enough to be out of the way of everything.
