I hate thieves!! I live in Arizona, which isn't too far away. We've got a really bad theft problem here too, mine's been broken into 2 times, and one other attempted to. I here of a lot of stolen things morons are trying to sell here recently, if I see any signs of your ride, I'll most deffinatly post it up.

You need to get a Club..........I've had a Club on my car ever since i had a car since i was 16. People will stay away from cars with any theif deterent devices. Perhaps you will learn your lesson this time. Good luck.

 

the club = pointless
remote kill switch and removable steering wheel.
or unplug the fuel relay thats right above your left foot. cant start it with no fuel.

 

I had my car stolen with the club on it....

I also had a car stolen that didnt even run....

there's really no way to stop thieves if they want your car

..but good luck finding your car...you never know what may happen

and the club is friggen useless. all you need is a hacksaw. cut a small peice out of the steering wheel.

on another note, if a thief has it hell bent to steal your car then he will take it, bottom line. All we can really do is make it such a pain in the *** for him to take it that the hassle will not be worth it. also, the peddle locks work great, just slap that thing on your clutch pedal and bam, to cut that thing off would take a while. But ofcourse they could just simply tow you from any mall parking lot.

Hey man, sorry to hear that... i know how it feels......same thing happened to me when i used to live in some apartments in Fremont, they took my car when it was right in front of my apartment.... it seems that they like to target people that live in apartments.... when i got my car back... it was all stripped out...... hopefully it doesnt happen to you cuz it really sucks specially being your daily driver.... well.... try to post some pictures up cuz a lot of the time im in oakland and thats where most of the stolen cars end up... or frisko... post them up and if i see anything ill hit u up... good luck ....

 

Eventually it will...but petty thieves who dont know what they're doing wont be able to. Whatever it takes to deter or slow em down i think is good. Besides, this thread is about a member getting his car stolen and not about how to protect your car... If you want us to help you, post a pic, do an Amber alert or something, so we can track those suckers. I have a few messengers in the Bay Area that drive all day and can help spot your missing car...

i know a lot of reformed car thieves, all of which say a club on a car doesnt make a difference to them. they just saw through the unbelievably thin steering wheel. taking them 50 seconds to steal your car instead of 45. most car thieves are going to part out a car n e way, so they don't care about a steering wheel, there is no market for them. the car thieves have some ***** to steal the car in broad daylight. My guess is that it was probably someone that knows your habits reese. they scope you for a few weeks until they find your pattern. sux though.

 

I want to rig my car with c-4, Flip an arming switch and if the motor turns over at all BOOOOOOOM... Sucks to loose a car, But I think the gore of it all would be worth it not to mention one less car theif. Good luck man
