i'm thinking of selling the car and getting a 92-95 hatch for a new project.

here are the major mods:

91 crx si
b16a swap with YS1 LSD with LS 5th gear, hasport mounts
Clutch Maters stage3 with aluminum flywheel
Place racing front cross member
Drag gen3
Tail 35mm WG
3" custom exhaust with 3" carsound cat
MSD 6-BTM , blaster 3 coil
Apexi: VAFC, AVCR, turbo timer.
camgears, camseal, fuel pressure regulator.
1" aluminum radiator core
skunk2 coil overs, integra front brakes, rear tie bar
Kosei k1 16x7.5 wheels

lots more little stuff. the engine has about 15k since the swaps and the turbo has 5k on it. over $11,000 in reciepts not including the car and labor because i did everything myself. i would like to get close to $10,000 for it but i dont think that's going to happen. so what would you guys pay for this.

 

your car is very modified, unfortunately, few people want to buy a car that has had so much done to it. if you find an enthusiast that appreciates what is in it, i don' t think $8000 is too much to ask. i don't care for the wing or the red in the interior, my suggestion would be to paint the wing black (made my friend's CRX look sooo mean) and paint the interior pieces that are red, back to black. also, possibly run the wires for the AVCR and VAFC through the top of the dash instead of across the front, that would clean up the interior a little bit. good luck, i think you are better off finding a shell and using your drivetrain in a new project rather than selling your whole car and starting over.

Realistically...unless it's in demand, expect a little over half of what you put into it?

Theres a reason why we call them "project cars" and not "moneymakers."

 

Oh...and in all honosty...spending $500 on a jdm front end will effectively up the price for twice that, and will probably make it easier to sell. YOU KNOW THIS IS TRUE!

the wing and red interior has gotta go.
i dont understand why you put a side marker on your bumber.
not really feelin those wheels.

anyway the point is its a crx its about 12 years old. you never get back what you put in. nothing against crx's but i dont think anyone is gonna pay more then 6500 for it becuz its old and its a crx. this is only my opinnion if you get more for it then congradulations.

you may be better off parting it out and selling everything.

 

I would ask 7500. you should change the dash back to stock... looks much cleaner that way.

that's an AWESOME motor setup, but good god what happened to the interior and exterior???

that's alot of junk in the inside of it. sheesh. not to be offensive, but it's tacky. overdone.

depending on the condition and feel of the motor (which im sure is great ) i think it'd be worth it to buy it for the motor alone. but it'd be stressful for me thinking i'd have to find all the stock **** to replace the nasty interior.

just my thoughts. and if you don't mind driving it and still enjoy it, i'd ask HIGH and wait till you get the one person who'll appreciate it what it's for and pay your asking price.

 

Nice setup . Imo I think the car is worth around 8k-8.5k, I'm sure the buildup cost much more than that...I think someone would probably pay 7-7.5k for the car. If you want to sell it I would either take no less than 7.5k or maybe you could part out the turbo kit and sell the car seperately.

It's pretty sad seeing how little crx's go for even after tons of money is put into it.

 

if you have all your stock **** then you could sell the car stock, get a quick $1k, and the rest of the parts is what is going to get you more money. I know I'm interested in some of your parts, and would buy them right now.
