ac belt tensioner problems
so i got my 95 integra without an ac belt and decided to install it. the mechanic told me i needed an ac belt tensioner. i looked for it online and couldnt find it. so i went to napa auto parts and couldnt find one either. one of the workers told me about his 93 prelude and that his didnt come with an ac belt tensioner and that the pulleys are the ones tightening the ac belt. i was just wondering if this is true for integras aswell?
You'll need a tensioner. It doesn't come as a unit, so you need to buy the parts seperately if you get a new one.

You need parts 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, and 24 in the drawing.
You may also need the adjustment bolt and nut (25 and 26) depending on whether your car still has them.
