I've had this gap on my "A" pillar forever and I'm tired of it. I've already replaced the panel with a brand new OEM one and new clips, but I still can't get it to fit correctly. Any suggestions / someone with a similar issue?

 

same problem. make sure the metal clips are exactly where they need to be. just trial and error i guess. i havent fixed mine they both look like that
