Here's my thing, I get on PCH starting in Santa Monica pass sunset go about 15 minutes up and just randomly turn into one of those canyons to your right...

Malibu Canyon right before pepperdine you can't miss it just make a right where pepperdine is.

Topananga Canyon's gotta be ONE OF, if not, THE BEST canyon to drive on and it puts your from Ventura boulevard like Tarzana all the way back to PCH.

Angel's crest used to be fun, it's very long so make sure u have gas. Also u weren't able to go up there too long ago since the fires a year back but now I'm told you can go to the gas station at the la canada exit off the 210 i believe it's a chevron and u can get a $5 pass to go up there, that one's exiting..take it all the way to the top you're pretty much up there with the airplanes. Try not to go in the winter if u don't have good tires, it get's icy at higher altitudes.

Let's see...what else..Yeah u can take Mulholland Driver starting @ the 101 Barham exit. Take that as far as u can. Supposedly it takes you all the way to the beach, i take it pretty far and get lost in the residential just past the 405 but i know when u take the Malibu canyon you'll run across Mulholland drive there i have no idea how they connect.

If anyone's down to do a canyon, hit me up. I'm always up for it. Well when my car's running efficiently.

Turn bull canyon is a must. But you could get lost pretty easily coming back down, just hope that it lets u out in hacienda heights.

U can get to the by taking the 605, exiting Beverly I'm not sure if it's north or south Beverly but whichever one u take that straight up stay on it until it turns into the canyon.

Believe it or not Griffith park's got it's own small canyon but long enough to get a fulfillment this canyon leads up to the observatory but you have to be coming from the Hollywood side, not the loz feliz/ at water village side nor the Vermont side....
well i guess u could take the Vermont all the way up and around it's all downhill from there but not a slope just a small downhill til the end. It's fantastic.

All these canyon's I've listed are great for spirited driving. I'd say angel's crest and turn bull canyon have some of the tighter turns opposed to the others I've listed. But don't under estimate the Topanga canyon one, that one is amazing.

Have you ever driven up Decker Canyon through to Mulholland? Then down Stunt Rd back to PCH? This route(and its couple of variations) puts the main roads like Malibu Canyon/Topanga Canyon to shame in terms of windiness and fun. Since Malibu Canyon and Topanga Canyon are main roads, they're always cluttered up with traffic and cops.

Here's a video of Tanner Foust drifting his TC through Mulholland Dr.

Agreed, Only in the day time i end up stuck behind someone slow..but normally they pull over if i don't let up, which in most cases i do let up. I normally go around 1am - 2am it helps me sleep better when i get home. and around those hours i don't see cops or many other cars going towards the beach. I don't really fly on these canyons i drive them maybe like 5 to 10 over the speed limit just because the canyon demands that of you.

I don't think it's a good idea to have this post. Cops do visit this forum.
