i have a 1998 v6 honda accord with 127k miles on it. I have had 02 sensor replaced, egr pipes cleaned and a couple other little things cleaned up while he was in there. This EGR 1, and EGR 2, and o2 sensor code keep coming up. This is very frustrating, as i need this engine light to go off, and i have already surpassed my budget for repairs. Is my 1998 not covered under warranty right now then? What is the solution to this problem? We cleaned out the carbon buildup. I have read maybe the map sensor or the cat, but I cant just keep guessing and checking, as what ive done should have fixed it. Any help is appreciated


We have done so much except replace the cat, I am going to have him take a look down in it tomorrow but I really am not sure here...

 

I have a feeling that the cat could be trigging the code.

 

Yeah, were going to drop it and take a peek tomorrow. Its an expensive part for all ive done already
