Em2/ dual din in dash mounting
I pose a question to those of you whom have installed a screen of about 7inches in place of a stereo face plate. what troubles if any did you run into and what can I do to make my install as painless as possible i.e. (use an installation kit for that flush fit look)?

I have a pioneer double din in my civic (01) and i have it mounted directly to the factory cage that the stock stereo/pocket were mounted to. The only modification (if you can even call it that) was i used a washer (i think #6 or 8) on the inside of the mounting screws just as shims to center everything up. After that, just get a metra double din shroud (just google it, if you cant find it i can dig up the part number) to cover everything up and youre all set.

I also did this in mine. Done in under an hour easily wig the plug adaptor and doubling din trim metra kit. Iso mounts right in. I did mine in my driveway with a pry tool, philips, screwdriver, but connectors and crip tool. One of he easiest I have ever done
