ok i got my dc2 with a SRI intake.
the stock air box and resonator etc were removed.

i have a stock air box that i want to modify and install.
i can bolt up the 2 brackets that are on the chassis leg,

how can i get to bolt up the third one which is on the other side??
the box is kinda shaky with only 2 bolts holding it in position.

 

The easiest way is to drill a hole and tap it. Just make sure you dont puncture the box

anyone with a stock air box set can post pics of the air box fitting??
i see couple online but cant see where they bolt up the one im looking for

 

there is a metal bracket that attaches perpendicular to the frame beneath the box. thats where the third bolt goes. you probably don't have it installed.....

 

what are u trying to do with stock intake back on? like what modifications are u planning to implement?
