Molding on passenger side pulled back on the top: Possible theft attempt?
the molding on the side of my passenger is pulled back on the top. does tha mean someone tried to get into my car? its a lil fishy
thats a no brainer. start garaging, car alarm. kill switches.
or you can rig up a lawnmower blade on the bottom of the car witha garage door spring.....like they do in south africa or keep a hyena in your car

A fuel pump kill switch is a nice first step if you don't have one.
If you don't have a decent alarm, get one.

Do you think that molding could peel up on it's own?
I've had my car for seven and a half years and mine has never peeled up on it's own, nor did the previous Civic I owned for a year before that.
So either your car is haunted, you have some really bad *** squirrels around there or someone tried to get into your car.
Up your security or the car will get broken into / stolen.

I doubt the molding came back on its own. Get a flashlight and look for smudge marks around it. Don't be surprised.
Get some good deterrents. A good alarm done by a reputable shop, a few kill switches, relocated your battery to the trunk, re-route your hood release cable.
There's a VERY good security FAQ in the audio/security forum. Very good read.

So no one has to go to another site, these are the photos the OP was trying to post. I also resized them to 75% since they were a little large on my notebook's screen.

No problem. You're welcome.
I suppose some of that molding damage might have happened from the cold too. I've seen molding tweak out from the cold before.

yeah I doubt that was anything happenstance.
Someone definitely was trying to get into your car. Maybe with a coat hanger or something.
