88 crx si b16a won't fire on 2 and 3
Hello everyone. I'm new here and I'm having some problems with my car just recently. I have a 1988 crx si with a b16a swap in it running obd0. The engine is completely stock and has always run very well. But just a while ago, the car backfired twice (very loud and hard) while trying to start after it had been shut off. I let the car sit for a day and then it started right up. It ran fine for a couple days and then I started getting ready to drop a turbo setup in it. I put the injectors on and test ran it to check if it was working and it fired right up (ran rich of course). Then I decided not to turbo and sold everything and replaced it with the stock injectors after having them cleaned. Since then, it has not been firing on cylinders 2 and 3.
I have replaced the injectors, plugs, wires, cap, and ran injector cleaner. And still nothing. All plugs are getting spark and all cylinders are getting fuel. So then I proceeded to have the head pressure and vacuum tested and resurfaced. They found nothing wrong with the valves, etc.
I am very desperate to get it running soon as this is my daily driver and school has started. All mechanics opinions are telling me it's either no spark or no fuel, but when I say I have both, they don't know what to tell me.
ANY help would be apreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
