Default DPFI to MPFI question. Z6 I.M. on D15b2 head?

I have a full D16Z6 motor that I plan on rebuilding. I'd like to know what all i would need to do a MPFI swap using the Z6 Intake manifold.

1. Is the Z6 manifold compatible with the D15b2 head?
2. Is there a link to the MPFI re-wiring would I have to do?
3. Would I need another ECU or could I run the PM5?
4. Is there I write up anywhere for this specific combination? (i've searched, no luck)

Any help is appreciated.

1. yes
2. eh?
3. yes you need a mpfi ecu, no to the pm5
4. for the specific combo, i don't know. but the conversion is virtually the same no matter what mpfi manifold you use

Step 1. Remove harness
Step 2. Send me your harness and i will convert it for you
Step 3. Once you receive the harness back, install the harness per detailed instructions.
Step 4. Enjoy!

Oh i have a few pm6's i can sell you for uber cheap.

in this order y8>z6>a6 , lol

the z6 is a decent bit better, and the y8 has been called the "type r" of d-series intake manifolds.

Thanks man. I've done a bit more research and I might as well wait to swap in my D16z6 rather than put anymore energy into the D15.

Thanks guys.

Hi i am doing the same swap to my d15b2 converting it to mpfi and got a question about it. For the harness do i have to use the harness or can i use a different harness that already has the mpfi as long as it aint vtec and obd0?
