Default Turbo kit and -10 fuel rail

This build has a bit of a story behind it........ Almost two years ago(10-18-08) me and many other people lost a good friend when Dave Horne passed away in a motorcycle accident. After Dave passed Curt Miller (owner/operator of DynoTuned Performance) put on a dyno day (Sat.&Sun.) with all the money raised used to try and get Dave's project car back from the person he had recently traded it to. $4500 is what ended up being paid for the clean shell with no wheels, still had Dave's old brakes and suspension. (ridiculous I know but it is what it is I guess) The current owner was like Dave's little brother hence why it is his lol. Enough with all that talk here are the pics of the turbo kit and fuel rail I fabricated for this car enjoy. The turbo is an HTA series Tial turbo, stainless v banded exhaust housing, billet compressor wheel, ball bearing. Dart block, the only honda components in the motor currently are the crank and cams.

I'm not generally a honda fan (Skylines ftw) but I like the cleanliness of it and the purpose behind it, good job

More info on the catch can setup - I'm interested to know where the slash cut in the exhaust runs etc.

This is the part we have in the exhaust. There is also a one way check valve in the system. The fitting and line are located just before the front subframe.

Fab and general work looks great. Such an awesome story for a project/tribute car.

Time to resurrect a dead thread!

Two of the 4 passes from last years test session at Byron Raceway. This 62mm car has more power this year and some other updates so we are expecting good results this year.
