Default Coilover length(s) For all of you w/ or hoping to buy! FYI's..I guess

Guys & Gals,

I decided to start this thread. You may or may not contribute, totally up to you. I'm in a debacle w/ my ride height. My solution is this thread & a tad bit more research. To help myself and others.

If you'd like to help, whenever you are removing or installing your coilover I'd appreciate it if you'd take some measurements.

WHY? Our accord has a lip kit, our driveway is steep, our streets are not the best, shopping driveways are insane, speed bumps - alternate route..etc etc Basically, w/ our Function Form Type I's adjusted at it's highest raised setting is too low for our sedan accessorized ( lip kit & rim choice ).

Here's a short guide for all participants....Thanks in Advance!

-Suspensions Measured 7th Gen Accord-

Function Type I

* Front 19.4" ( inches )
* Rear 22.6" ( inches )

I am not sure how this thread is going to help others because there are so many variations in chassis and suspension set ups with spring lengths and weights even though travel/stroke is set.

for the 8th gen Accord: I don't have exact measurements, but this is a Koni 2812 laid next to a OEM unit

well theres no major variation between a 7th gen accord. The only diff is, cpe/sdn & very min. curb weight. The issue I'm having wit jdm's coilovers is they dont go high enough, others with teins who want to be slammed say they dont go low enough. So this is basically a thread helping to provide options.
