i bought a 95 prelude, came with i believe, a g23.. it has the f23a4 block, but i think it got converted to 2 cam with a h23 head. i read about this swap.. a g23? if i were to drop it in, what other parts would i need? might sale the engine if interested

 

you're telling us you got a car that has a g23, F bottom and H top... What parts are you needing... for what? Are you asking a question? confused. If you got the G23 on the side, not being in the car... its a direct swap for the prelude chassie. no mounts, axles, harness needed.

 

All you need is the intake manifold and a few wiring changes, then you can drop it in. Honestly, I wouldn't even waste my time though if it's just an H23 head because that would seem kind of pointless.

 

Ask Pirate McFred about an H23 head being pointless on an F block. I bet he will tell you different.

 

the whole idea of the g23 is budget. an h23 head costs what? 25$ an a vtec head costs a few hundred. a f2X block costs about 100-200 and a h22 block costs a few hundred more... get the idea?

 

ya its just sitting. if any of you want to buy it, i have it $200.
