I wanted to know if an oil pressure switch and a oil pressure sender are the same thing? I don't want to buy the wrong part. This is for a 1990 Honda Accord DX. Thanks.

Someone said that I could just use Teflon tape instead of a sealant when I replace it. Do you think that will work and where do you buy Teflon tape at?

Yes they are the same. At the same place you get the switch from should also have the tape.
