civic ex & lx evap connector problem? help

civic ex & lx evap connector problem? help
the ex have two evap connector 1 goes to canister on the firewall and 1 go to the evap purge solenoid on the manifold, well on my lx engine harness i only have 1 evap connector which goes to the canister on the firewall. my question is why is that?
ima drop a zc long block with a po7 manifold into my 96 civic sedan lx 5 speed. but my harness only have 1 evap connector which goes to the canister on the firewall. will a check engine light go on for evap purge solenoid ? i will be running a p2e ecu. or i should be fine....
