Whats up HONDA-TECH...

Ok I have a ek coupe, EJ6, whatever you want to call it... Its a DX model so it has that "fuel economy" intake system with the low throttle body.. I just picked up a Y8 manifold with everything on it..

1st question- will putting the Y8 manifold benefit me in anyway?

2nd question- I have foglights and I dont know the HELL kinda bulbs are in them, can anyone help me out?

You should free up a few ponies with that Y8 manifold. Its really free flowing and it deletes your car

Y8 manifold will flow better. Its a plug and play swap as long as its off an automatic Y8.

yah^ is correct... Dont bother with the sylvannia silverstar (19.99 each or 21.99)
The "oem" replacement by sylvannia is alittle dimmer but only cost like 7 bucks each. Its kinda a PITA to change the bulb seeing as you must remove the bumper (not so difficult) but just sounds like it takes awhile

That is the first time ive ever heard that, so it has to be a Y8 manifold out of an automatic?

yes, the y8 automatic is a straight bolt-on. The manual would require some modification.

I think the fog-light is an H3

the y8 manifold is a worthy upgrade. I've contemplated it many times.

yeap i have done it before they are same will be plug and play but maybe the IACV if you have your stock hardness you will need to make some space in you hardness cutting some of the black thing that it come envelop in, but it will help you and increase your fuel economy, y did to my dad y7, i put a y8 and it is better, if you have stock foglight you need H3 bulb, on ebay find them for like 4$ new and good ones
