I've been looking for an OEM Type R nose mask for my 00 R for quite some time, and so far I haven't had any luck finding one suitable. I recently came across one, but for 94-97 fitment. How significant are the fitment issues of a 94-97 mask on a 98-01? Is it just a slight difference that isn't too noticeable, or will it look horribly awkward? Just wondering if its something worth pursuing, or if I should keep looking for the correct one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

-The top part above the headlights will fit just fine.
-The headlights opening can be cut out and the seam can be schetched out to fit the '98-up slang eye headlights.
-The grill opening fitting is questionable.
-The bottom part where it wrap around the lip WILL NOT fit as the '98-up lip is wider than the '97.

Mainly just looking for one for aesthetic purposes, and to cover up the annoying misfitment between my passenger side fender and bumper cover. Sounds like theres more differences than I thought. Thanks for the input.
If the "misfitment is causing by the fender bending at the edge(s), you can just bend it out with your bare hands. That's what I did to my.
