Default civic oil pressure switch install

I'm getting ready to install my oil pressure switch some one told me that i had to apply a light coat of atv bond on the thread of the new switch, is it require?

if its a OEM oil pressure sensor or an oil pressure sending unit then it doesnt hurt to put a little Hondabond on it or you can go cheap and use oil/gas rated teflon tape
