I have jdm spec 96-97 B18c swap in my civic and need an alternator. I was told ANY alternator would work from an integra (96 and up). He said even an LS would work. Is this true? And what is the stock AMP for my engine? Thanks

 

itr alternator puts more amp compare to other b series alternator. use a gsr alternator (cheaper than itr and close to its amp rating) and remember to use your itr alternator pulley only.

 

Yeah I believe the R uses the Mitsubishi and all others are Nippon Denso.

 

Where's the best place to find a gsr ir itr alternator? I looked on eBay but hesitant.

 

i have a gsr and itr alternator sitting here side by side, look identical to me

steve at hmotors will sell you a working jdm alt for 50 bucks

I need one too, and I just called Hmotors and they said they only had them on long blocks....do any of you know where else i could look to find one?
