anyone know acura sites that still sell the lip? or what do you guys do when restoring these salvage theft cars? where do you get the OEM rare parts like the lip? is there a company that makes a good replica? I would prefer OEM but if theres a good product out there I might consider it....

 

Its no longer in production.. i was real lucky and bought one of the last remaining ones out there.. maybe if your lucky you might be able to find a dealership that still has one

i'd recommend getting a used one and just restoring/repaint it

^^^ better jump on it.. like i said they are no longer in production.. after all the ones in the dealership are done then thats that. Not so sure if you want to repaint a brand new one though that costs almost 400 though..

Just grab a used one if your gonna repaint. Try Team-Integra.net.. I always see them for sale. As for replicas, the ONLY one that i have ever seen that is OEM like is the JDM **** Replica which i also believe is no longer in production.. Dont take my word on that though.. i dont look into replica stuff

 

Yeah thanks, Id hate to buy a brand new championship white one just to repaint it.... Id rather leave them out there brand new for other type R guys in the future

 

the comptech one aka wingswest replica is the closest thing to the real oem itr lip, that can be had at a cheaper price. only thing i notice that is different is the way it mounts.

 

really they are that hard to find? everytime i have gone to the dealership they have had them. just had to order it in....but at an outrageous price

 

yeah they have it at dealerships in Type R colors, they discontinued the lips in OEM colors such as taffeta white

 

Yes the Comptech is the ONLY other one besides the JDM **** that looks OEM as well.. that wasnt in my head a bit ago...

milford had them last year for 475 a lip lol. Almost bought it until i found a guy who chopped his usdm front nhbp R off and opted for a JDM front =D

 

Try del ray acura and germain acura. In the past they had itr parts that were discontinued.

 

yeah but what Im saying is why go buy a lip in an ITR color, when ITR guys down the road could use them.... I have a GSR and need the regular white color
