New here but not to fresh with honda's.
first of all, was hoping that simply the valve seals were bust. to be sure i opened up the whole engine and stripped it down.

now im at the pistons and cilinder wall:









I think these are decent pictures to find out if its bad or not. tbh i think the piston is fubar but then again ive been proven wrong on these things. but what do yall think? does the engine need a hone? i cant feel the black lining u can see in the pics.

the piston oil scrape ring looks like its abit stuck. Wont expand to much and looks pretty burned. im going to try to measure the clearance btween piston and wall, also going to check if cilinder is oval. but yea. should i even bother or?

notice the second last picture u have this strange spot in it. looks like there is some strange spot there.. might just be the angle on the crosshatching thou

i need yalls advice! dump this engine block or what?
