Engine Rough Idle Help ASAP
timing belt snapped on my f22b1 i put my new belt and rotated engine by hand and no binding, ran engine adjusted vales and new plugs and cap and rotor, engine has rough idle at below 1000rpm exhaust has a slight popping noise took plugs out found #3 plug black like fouled others were still white like new, when u drive the car it drives fine only in idle its rough before timing belt snapped engine was rebuilt new pistons and bearings etc so i doubt pistons are bad maybe the head is bad? prob valves slighly bent? i know when i went to adjust the valves some were real tight i couldn't pass the gauge between the vaalve stem and rocker , had to open then rocker more, any sugestions ? engine feels like a miss fire like something dumb i checked all my sensors are ok and all new o2

check compression across all cylinders first. that should have been the first step when the timing belt broke.
see what you are reading. that will tell you if you have bent valves or not.
